Shipping to Canada: Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to pay duties and taxes?
Yes. All orders shipped to Canada are subject to import duties and taxes as determined by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA). These fees are not included in your order total at checkout and must be paid by the recipient upon delivery.
What is a "Brokerage Fee"?
If we ship your order via a private courier (like UPS), they charge a "Brokerage" or "Entry Preparation" fee for processing your package through customs on your behalf. These fees can be significant for ground shipments.Â
What happens if I refuse to pay the fees?
If a shipment is refused due to unpaid duties and taxes, the package will be returned to us. In this event, the original shipping cost and any return shipping fees charged by the carrier will be deducted from your final refund.
